Have you ever heard the old wives' tale that if a baby can't tell night from day -sleeps all day and not at night- you flip the baby upside down? The theory is that the baby is confused and if you flip them head over heels -and I assume you hold on to them while you do it - they will learn to tell the difference between night and day.
Well I am a night owl from way back. I always thought I would be the perfect 2nd shift worker. I start gearing up around 4pm and hit my stride mid-evening. But something happened along the way. I suddenly have become a morning person.
I now wake up, and actually get up, by 5am. Something about the farm makes me want to get moving earlier. I can honestly say I have never seen as many sunrises as I have seen since I moved. Take a look.
Funny how things can change. Roland thinks it's because I fell head over heels for him. I think he put something in the well water.
To be continued . . .
